Summer Camp 2026 – Samurai Sword Camp for 10 – 15 year olds

Dates: July 27-30 (Mon-Thurs)
Time: 9:30am-12:00pm.
$195 per child
Kids Ages 10-15 yrs
Students will get a white belt , dojo t-shirt and their own wood sword (bokuto) to use for the class and to keep.

At Samurai Sword Camp Kids will learn:

• Samurai History
• Sword Techniques from Kukishin Ryu Kenjutsu
• Fitness & Teamwork
• Japanese Language & Etiquette

Gigi Simmons Managing Director / Instructor

Gigi Simmons is an Instructor and Director of Operations at Shin Gan Dojo in Texas. With 18 years of experience in Ninpo Taijutsu and traditional Japanese Ryu Ha, she specializes in Jujutsu and practical self-defense. Gigi is dedicated to preserving traditional lineage while fostering discipline and confidence in her students.
